Vets Beyond Borders has experienced a lot of changes over the past few months as we welcome and farewell members of the Board and team.
Maryann Dalton has stepped down from her role as CEO after almost six years of dedicated service to VBB. During her tenure, VBB continued its development and became recognised internationally as a result of the roll out of its three main programs: VetMatch, VetTrain and the Australian Veterinary Emergency Response Team (AVERT).
We thank Maryann for her commitment to the organisation and wish her all the very best for her future endeavours. We also farewell our volunteer coordinator Kate Neal and Board member Dr Denzil O’Brien. We thank them both for their contribution and wish them all the best.
We welcome VBB’s new CEO Dr Sally Colgan, who looks forward to driving further expansion of VBB’s animal welfare and veterinary training work around the world. We also welcome two new Directors, Jane Sharwood and Nina Dejmanee.
We would like to introduce Robert Leach, coordinator for AVERT, which will continue to assist government authorities and wildlife rescue groups with providing care to animals impacted by the fires. For enquiries, please email email@example.com.
Volunteer Coordinator Nermine Marcos joined VBB towards the end of last year and is happy to answer your questions about our volunteer programs around the world. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Caroline Zambrano is continuously looking for volunteer stories and invites members to reach out on email@example.com
