VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY REQUIRED TO ASSIST IN LADAKH

Spend a few weeks (or longer), sometime between June and October 2018, assisting a dedicated team of veterinarians and other animal welfare workers, in one of the most spectacular regions on earth . . . . . . . . . so much more than the usual tourist experience.

VBB has entered into a VetMatch collaboration with Ladakhi authorities to help increase the effectiveness of the street-dog sterilisation and vaccination campaign in the region. New, larger, clinical facilities have been built in the capital of Leh and plans are underway to also hold surgical  camps in outlying villages. We are seeking volunteer veterinarians to join the team and help ensure that the project is as successful as possible. The work has strong local support and a warm welcome is assured.

If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact vetmatch@vetsbeyondborders.org  –  and a sincere thank you from the animals and people of Ladakh.
