It was the most wonderfully rewarding experience. The conditions were difficult and at time frustrating but to be able to use my veterinary skills to help the animals was incredibly rewarding. The opportunity to experience the culture first hand was also an amazing part of the experience. I loved every moment and would do it again in a heartbeat.
What do you think is the best aspect of the program?
The fact that you have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the animals and to the people.

The chance to help and to do something significant for people and animals who otherwise would not be able to help themselves.
