Board Members

All board positions will be open to nomination at the upcoming AGM however there is a casual vacancy for the Board Secretary and Treasurer at present.

Board Secretary

The Board Secretary is responsible for overseeing all communications both within the organization and externally. This role also produces meeting agendas and manages the compilation of board papers.

Treasurer

The Treasurer provides the board with an annual budget and tables up-to-date financial statements at each board meeting.

AFAP Community Partner Officer

The AFAP Community Partner Officer communicates directly with the community partner manager within AFAP. The purpose of this role is to keep VBB up to date with the requirements that VBB needs to meet within the AFAP community partner program.

Media Liaison

The Media Liaison is responsible for all media stories from writing to submission and follow up. This person is the spokesperson for VBB to the media. This role is responsible for the planning and implementing of media campaigns and strategies.

Web Content Manager

The Web Content Manager is responsible for managing the web publishing process, including updating content and creating graphic and written collateral.

Member and Donor Newsletter Editor

The Member and Donor Newsletter Editor is responsible for producing quarterly newsletters which are specifically written for members and donors. The role includes staying in contact with relevant content providers and producing a newsletter which enriches the member and donor experience.

Registered Organisations Liaison

This role is responsible for the ongoing management of relationships with organisations which are listed in the organisations directory. This role is to create and maintain relationships with those organisations.

Fundraising Coordinator

The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for identifying and implementing fundraising opportunities. The role includes developing the donor database and identifying opportunities for VBB presence at events, liaising with sponsors, ad agencies and corporate partners.

Forum Moderator

The Forum Moderator is responsible for moderating and managing the VBB online forum. This position requires active participation in the forum and helping members with enquiries.

Volunteer Liaison

This Volunteer Liaison is responsible for maintaining continuous liaison and coordination with the volunteer screeners. This role establishes contact with each new volunteer as they are accepted.
