Working as a volunteer can be a very satisfying aspect of a veterinary career. It is a great opportunity to use your skills in a way that truly benefits animals and communities. Volunteers required: Ladakh Programme, India
In the north west Indian state of Ladakh, VBB in partnership with Ladakh animal care society is running an ABC program for the third year. Volunteers are required from June to September 2008. If interested please contact the project director at the following address.

Volunteers required: SARAH Programme, Sikkim In the North-Eastern Indian State of Sikkim, Vets Beyond Borders is working in collaboration with the Sikkimese Government and the Brigitte Bardot Foundation in what is believed to be the first, state-wide, animal welfare project of its kind. Volunteers interested working in Sikkim please contact the programme manager at the following address.

Vets Beyond Borders is assisting the Maitri organisation in the Indian state of Bihar by providing volunteers for a field camp. Current plans are to undertake a neutering clinic in 2008 in Bodhgaya and to develop a large animal program. If interested please contact Peter Howe the project director at the following address.
