Ladakh Street Dog Sterilisation Project- Project Manager
Vets Beyond Borders are looking for a dynamic & vibrant veterinarian to take on the position of Project Manager of Vets Beyond Borders’ Ladakh Street Dog Streilisation Project in Ladakh, India. Ladakh is often described as ‘Little Tibet’ with its spectacular mountain vistas, ancient Buddhist Monasteries and forts, and is an amazing place to stay.
This role is for 12 months from January 2011 to January 2012. The manager will oversee the running of the project including veterinary, volunteer and financial management, reporting & communications with the project’s local coordinator, the Vets Beyond Borders Board & sponsors, as well as ordering supplies and equipment. The successful applicant will need to be present in Ladakh during the surgical season from June 1st to September 30th.
