How to use the organisations directory

There are many oportunities for volunteer veterinarians, vet nurses and other motivated people to work for veterinary NGOs throughout the asia pacific region. There are many local and international veterinary aid organisations delivering projects to improve animal welfare and community health.

Vets Beyond Borders runs our own programmes but also endeavours to assist other organisations where possible with advice, training, the sharing of resources and the referral of volunteers.

Vets Beyond Borders members have links with some of the organisations listed on the directory, though there are no official agreements. All of the listed organisations are operated independantly of Vets Beyond Borders and are responsible for their own policy and management.

If you are interested in volunteering for any of the listed organisations then you will need to contact them directly. Some organisations may request that you fill out a Vets Beyond Borders registration form so as we can assist them by checking your previous experience and references. You do not need to register with Vets Beyond Borders unless requested to do so.

Any specific enquieries about a particular project should be directed to the organisation that runs it by the listed contact details.

We are always keen to hear about volunteer's experiences so we can inform others. Any stories or photos from your volunteering experiences can be sent to admin@vetsbeyondborders.org
