New Fundraising VetPrac Workshop Auction BID NOW!
Published 19 Mar 2012
Congratulations and thanks to Michael from Victoria for his winning BID of $2200 in the VetPrac Workshop auction - Modern Techniques in Cruciate Surgery 2012!
Leading Australian veterinary educator VETPRAC has now generously offered VBB another place to auction at one of its fantastic workshops. This time it is a coveted place at its August/September 2012 WORKSHOP:
Perineal Surgery
August 31st - September 1st 2012, Wagga Wagga NSW
Speaker: Dr Craig Bailey BVSc FACVS
All funds raised from VetPrac auctions go to supporting VBB to continue it's work to provide a better world of health for animals and people.
VetPrac® provides practical skills training for registered veterinarians in clinical practice. VetPrac®'s founder Ilana Mendels realized that there is a big difference between learning about a practical technique, watching someone do the procedure and actually practicing the technique yourself.
VetPrac® was created to bridge the gap between learning and doing. While there is greater access to specialist services today, there are still many instances when specialist service is cost prohibitive or unobtainable. And many in general practice want to build skills and advance.
VetPrac® courses improve the practical veterinary skill set. Practical tips, not included in the textbooks are revealed. VetPrac® courses are designed by vets for general practice vets with the realities of practice in mind. VetPrac® courses are run in small groups with a very high tutor to attendee ratio. Interactive lectures are supported by intensive wet-lab sessions. All methods can be attempted and improved upon in a safe educational environment. The courses are really enjoyable. VetPrac® will help you build confidence, and improve your practical skills.
VetPrac® courses are great value for money, earning more more CPD points in 2-days than any other course in Australia.
This is the fourth workshop that Ilana Mendels has kindly donated to VBB for our fundraising. The first two auctions have raised over $5000 for VBB.
Many thanks go to VetPrac for their ongoing support of VBB.
