VBB Presentation at AVA Annual Conference Adelaide 2011

Published 26 May 2011

The Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) Conference is held in May in a different capital city each year. The four-day scientific program is supported by a large veterinary trade display, and each year it attracts a large gathering of veterinary professionals in Australia.

The AVA Annual Conference offers delegates the opportunity to network with friends and colleagues, update their skills across the full range of veterinary activities and visit a comprehensive industry exhibition with displays of the latest equipment and technology.

This year the AVA Special Interest group, Australian Veterinarians for Animal Welfare and Ethics (AVAWE) invited VBB to make a presentation about Animal Welfare in the Asian Region. VBB’s Executive Officer, Jenny O’Donnell, spoke about VBB’s work with sterilisation and rabies vaccination programs in India to a very receptive audience on the final afternoon of lectures at the conference on Thursday 19 May.

VBB would very much like to thank AVAWE for extending this opportunity to VBB to tell conference delegates about the great work done in developing communities by VBB’s dedicated team.
