Inspiring the Volunteer in You!

Volunteering Australia describes National Volunteer Week as the "largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 5 million Australians who volunteer".

Furthermore, it states that "Australian volunteers are essential to society, and many charities would struggle to survive without the support of their volunteers".

At VBB we rely heavily on volunteers not only from Australia but from all over the world. Not only do volunteer veterinary personnel keep our overseas projects running, but volunteers within Australia and from overseas help keep the VBB organisation working as a whole.

So this week, VBB would like to THANK all our volunteers, past and present, and also to encourage all those thinking about volunteering - let us Inspire the Volunteer in You!
